Database Engineer jobs in Canton, OH
Database Engineer plans, designs, develops, and manages an organization's databases to ensure efficient data storage, access, and security. Collaborates with users to design, code, test, debug, and deploy databases that meet requirements and organizational needs. Being a Database Engineer writes queries, stored procedures and functions for database development. Monitors databases' performance, scalability, and security and modifies procedures to optimize database designs. Additionally, Database Engineer evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates, performance tuning, and integration requirements. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of database technologies and solid coding and computer system skills. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Database Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Database Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Quality Engineer
Summary:
As Quality Engineer, you work with customers, production, and management to ensure the quality and compliance of finished sheet. You will keep accurate records of customer complaints and returns, corrective actions, procedures, and QMS data.
Responsibilities:
· Work directly with engineering and production to address, correct, and prevent customer complaints.
· Control of non-conforming product
· Manage the RMA (returns) database and develop reports.
· Write procedures and help manage the QMS.
· Analyze and data mine quality issues and process capabilities.
· Lead continuous process improvement projects.
· Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and qualification efforts.
Job Requirements:
· 2-year engineering or technical degree or equivalent education or experience
· Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and ERP software experience
Preferred Experience
· 2 years of manufacturing experience
· 2 years of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001
· 2 years of quality experience
· CMM or FARO inspection experience
