Database Engineer plans, designs, develops, and manages an organization's databases to ensure efficient data storage, access, and security. Collaborates with users to design, code, test, debug, and deploy databases that meet requirements and organizational needs. Being a Database Engineer writes queries, stored procedures and functions for database development. Monitors databases' performance, scalability, and security and modifies procedures to optimize database designs. Additionally, Database Engineer evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates, performance tuning, and integration requirements. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of database technologies and solid coding and computer system skills. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Database Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Database Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Conoscenze comprovate nella gestione ed amministrazione di istanze Oracle Database e preferibilmente Microsoft SQL Server, particolarmente nei seguenti aspetti:- Sviluppo e analisi di codice PL-SQL e T-SQL per valutazioni prestazionali e monitoraggio su Oracle Database e Microsoft SQL Server
- Installazione e configurazione di database Oracle 19c/21c stand-alone ed in alta affidabilità (Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, ridondanza geografica)
- Installazione e configurazione di istanze Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2017/2019 stand-alone ed in alta affidabilità (Always On, Failover Cluster, ridondanza geografica)
