Monitors databases' performance, scalability, and security and modifies procedures to optimize database designs. Additionally, Database Engineer evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates, performance tuning, and integration requirements. Partnership Solutions is currently seeking a Database Developer. The key function of this position is to collaborate with the Business and Data Solutions team to identify opportunities and deploy systemic tools to transform manual tasks and automate them to improve both operational effectiveness and upgrade process integrity to mitigate risk of loss.
The scope of this role also includes collaboration with functional areas throughout the enterprise to optimize the dissemination and reporting of key data elements and performance measures, as well as pursue process automation across the business and external vendors.
This position requires a solid grasp of SQL, strong analytical mindset, and hands on experience with data warehousing and ETL projects. The Database Developer will have some programming and application development background (Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.) and experience with analytical reporting / business intelligence suites (Tableau, PowerBI, SAS, etc.). A background in healthcare data and a fundamental understanding of managed care operations is desirable.
