Title: Cassandra Database Engineer
Type: Contract (with a possible short extension)

Work Schedule: Hybrid (on-site Tuesday to Thursday)

Overview:

As a Cassandra Database Engineer with Client, you will be responsible for supporting a critical application running on AWS, utilizing your expertise in both Cassandra and Oracle databases. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing database functionalities and integrating them with cloud solutions to ensure robust and scalable performance.

Responsibilities:

• Database Management (50%)
  • Maintain and support Cassandra and Oracle databases.
  • Ensure databases are optimized, secure, and scalable.
• AWS and CI/CD Operations (50%)
  • Manage and support applications running on AWS environments.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless deployment and operations.

Requirements:

• Core Skills:
  • Proficient in managing Cassandra and Oracle databases.
  • Strong experience with AWS technologies including RDS, EC2, EBS, and S3.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with automation using Linux and Python.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

• Single on-site interview without the option for remote on 04/29.
