Database Marketing Analyst performs analysis of marketing databases to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of various marketing programs. Develops strategy for targeted marketing campaigns and is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation. Being a Database Marketing Analyst runs various reports to track retention, identify new customers, and pinpoint opportunities to increase sales to current customers. Ensures that the database is updated and maintained in a timely fashion. Additionally, Database Marketing Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Database Marketing Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Database Analyst (Logical) will be responsible for designing & creating the relational database objects such as source marts, subject area marts, tables, views & indexes, supporting and maintaining the data layer environment (security, recovery & optimization) ensuring the database layer access and logic performs efficiently. This person will work directly with stakeholders and team members to successfully interface with other technologies required by the logical data models and/or applications in an agile environment. The person will work with the data architects to support/develop the logical data layers supporting the enterprise data strategy and analytic needs of the organization.

EXPERIENCE:Required: 7 years of experience as an Information Technology Professional working with data base management systems, operating systems, DBA tools and storage/capacity planning.Preferred: Healthcare experience to demonstrate an understanding of the intricacies of healthcare data and an understanding of HIPAA.
