Database Marketing Analyst jobs in Phoenix, AZ

Database Marketing Analyst performs analysis of marketing databases to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of various marketing programs. Develops strategy for targeted marketing campaigns and is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation. Being a Database Marketing Analyst runs various reports to track retention, identify new customers, and pinpoint opportunities to increase sales to current customers. Ensures that the database is updated and maintained in a timely fashion. Additionally, Database Marketing Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Database Marketing Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     YOUR TOP RESPONSIBILITIES

    • You will assist the Director of Information Systems in customizing database UI, including designing, installing, and updating.
    • You will assist with creating and delivering end-user training and documentation and contribute expertise to operations and technical support teams.
    • You will measure and audit large volumes of varying data for quality issues, develop protocols to assess database results, and resolve problem areas.
    • You will respond to data retrieval requests, generating accurate reports in a timely manner and escalating database issues where necessary to manager or outside vendor.
    • You will participate in system administration functions including, but not limited to data validation processes, imports/exports, duplicate resolution processes, system change requests and system integration/user acceptance testing to ensure ongoing integrity and security of data consistent with PRM policies.
    • You will participate in devotions, prayers or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle- specifically in teaching others to steward the data and electronics in a biblical manner.

    Requirements

    WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
    • You are experienced with Microsoft SQL.
    • You have excellent knowledge of database design and Microsoft’s SSRS, SSMS, Visual Studio and PowerBI.
    • You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to perform complex data analysis and audit validations.
    • You are extremely detail oriented with complex, highly detailed, and comprehensive information.
    • You have the ability to work independently on multiple projects; set and meet deadlines.
    • You have a solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.
