TITLE: Director, Database Marketing & Campaign Management
LOCATION: Stamford, CT
JOB SUMMARY: Utilize extensive knowledge and experience to manage all aspects of database technologies and database structures, including the use of ETL for “pushing and pulling” data across various environments. Perform data hygiene and validation. Append records as required for advanced analytics. Coordinate processing lead files to the inbound and outbound Marketing teams for the execution of customer segmentation and contact strategy activities essential for marketing campaigns and the attainment of associated sales plans. Ensure attainment of the list quality, quantity and timeliness assumptions inherent in the sales plans on a daily basis, through the utilization of sophisticated targeting/list generation methodologies within an adaptive learning environment designed to ensure continuous process improvements. Develop, implement, and enhance the database marketing platform by partnering with internal teams and select best-in-class vendors. Provide extensive company-wide leadership behind the ongoing enhancement of such platforms as well as how they can positively impact both current and future sales plans. Utilize computer programming tools including SQL, Billing systems, CRM, UNICA, and ETL tools. Utilize all available and necessary database marketing tools and direct marketing disciplines, techniques and software solutions to create an enterprise-wide approach toward data-driven decision making. Support a complex matrixed organization. Participate as a team member on various leadership teams. Coordinate the selection and daily supervision of multiple vendors in support of tactical day-to-day operations and the long-term database marketing vision. Support all marketing automation platforms.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: 7 years of experience with direct marketing using marketing automation platforms to build and manager database marketing campaigns. 7 years of experience utilizing CRM tools including UNICA. 7 years of experience in database marketing utilizing SQL to perform data analysis. 2 years of experience utilizing ETL tools such as Talend.
In the alternative, the employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field with 5 years of experience in database marketing utilizing SQL to perform data analysis, and the other above-mentioned experience.
