The Partner Report Writer and Assistant Editor furthers Faith Comes By Hearing’s Vision 2033 objectives by writing compelling reports to partner organizations that show the impact of partner investments and reflect the Kingdom impact of partner relationships. This position ensures all outgoing content adheres to the ministry’s style guide, key messaging, and brand standards.

Partner Report Writer (70%):

• Compose compelling reports to global partner organizations that reflect the value and strength of partner relationships, prioritize healthy fiscal stewardship, and encourage continued inter-organizational cooperation.
• Strategically develop and maintain scalable systems to organize partner reporting data.
• Research individual projects and programs and determine the best way to present that information to ministry partners.
• Determine appropriate creative copy and images for proposals, letters, appeals, church bulletins, and other assigned projects.
• Attend monthly donor report and proposal meetings.
• Enhance interdepartmental knowledge and collaboration by attending meetings on an as needed basis with members of Global Partnerships, Global Services, Oral Bible Translation, and other relevant internal departments.
• Participate in meetings with partners visiting the Faith Comes By Hearing office.
• Collaborate with team members to determine strategy and direction of partner reporting processes and frameworks.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM, Monday.com, and other digital tools to accomplish various components of job.
• Write grants, proposals, and reports for other donors, as needed.

Editor (30%):

• This position will assist with editing for the ministry. Working in conjunction with the ministry’s Creative Writer and Editor, the Partner Report Writer and Assistant Editor will ensure all outgoing content adheres to Faith Comes By Hearing’s style guide, key messaging, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Required:

• Alignment with Faith Comes By Hearing’s mission and vision.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as English, Marketing, or Journalism, or 2-3 years of related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in writing grants, proposals and reporting for non-profit setting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in copy editing.
• Data entry experience.
• Superior communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain discretion when acquiring, organizing, and distributing highly sensitive and/or confidential content.
• Works well independently and as a team member.

Preferred:

• Cross-cultural experience domestically or internationally.
• Knowledge of world geography.
• Experience with Monday.com or a similar CRM.
• Experience with Salesforce.
