Uses software and scripting, typically including SQL, to generate metrics and reports and synthesize them into actionable recommendations. Being a Database Report Writer may be responsible for management reporting, KPIs, or data QA. Provides support to research teams or management by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results based on the needs of end users. Additionally, Database Report Writer collaborates with various function teams such as marketing, research, and IT to achieve business results. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. • 2 years of paid professional writing experience in auditing, creative, or investigative reporting.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams.
• Excellent analytical, research, critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to make quick and independent decisions, solve problems, and work under pressure.
• Strong interest in public service and improving State government.
• Willingness to work in-person with daily office attendance.
