Database Warehouse Analyst designs and supports data warehouse systems, maintenance processes, and projects. Designs and writes code for ETL data solutions. Being a Database Warehouse Analyst plans and executes data warehouse implementations following system requirements and anticipated usage. Performs data extraction, ensures data accuracy, troubleshoots, and resolves bugs during data warehouse operations. Additionally, Database Warehouse Analyst analyzes business intelligence data and designs and generates reports. Understands and utilizes ETL tools like Informatica and programming languages like Python. Acts as liaison between information technology and business units. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Database Warehouse Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     We are seeking candidates for the position of Data Warehouse Administrator/Database Administrator with specific requirements:

    • Positions must be able to work on-site in Sacramento for a minimum of two to three days per week.
    • Positions must be available during core business hours, typically 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday (PST).
    • Positions may require occasional travel to district offices, with no more than 12 trips per year, and travel expenses will not be reimbursed.

    As a Data Warehouse Administrator/Database Administrator, the key duties and responsibilities include:

    • Performing data warehouse administration for the Enterprise Data Warehouse in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Environment.
    • Reviewing existing architecture and providing solution recommendations.
    • Developing, testing, and implementing scripts/jobs for data Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes using ODI.
    • Visualizing and designing the enterprise data management framework.
    • Developing physical data models and maintaining a data catalog and data dictionary.
    • Developing requirements and design specifications.
    • Evaluating and monitoring databases to resolve performance issues.
    • Mentoring and educating team members on best practices and industry standards.

    Qualifications for this role include:

    Mandatory:

    • A minimum of seven (7) years of verifiable experience in database design and warehouse architecture.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Desired:

    • Certification as an "Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2021 Certified Specialist" and/or "Oracle Machine Learning using Autonomous Database 2021 Certified Specialist".
    • Certification as an "Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2021 Certified Architect Professional".
    • Certification as an "Oracle Data Integrator 12c Certified Implementation Specialist".
