LCCA is recruiting part time weeken shift Admission Clinician to join an awesome team. The Clinician is responsible for all aspects of intake and admission processes and procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: maintaining daily census records, entering all intake and admission data into a hospital computer database, handling intake calls, completing thorough intake assessments, determining appropriate levels of care with MDs, verifying insurance benefits, completing insurance prior-authorization requests, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources, completing follow-up tasks pending resolution and ensuring treatment and clinical service recommendations are based upon patient needs. Maintain positive relationships with staff from other departments and foster a team environment. The schedule for this position is Saturday and Sunday from 7am - 7pm every other week.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s Degree and at least two years or relatable experience in counseling or behavioral health (counseling, social work, sociology or psychology) or relatable field with relevant experience in intake and admissions of master’s level Intake Director or Counselor who will cosign all assessments preferred. Registered Nurses (RNs) encouraged to apply.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid state driver’s license with appropriate endorsement.
