Structures the curriculum and monitors students' progress to ensure activities are meeting the children's needs. Being a Day Care Center Teacher maintains a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. - Provide program support to Geriatric participants with Dementia in social adult day setting
- Assist with program activities & fun recreational activities
- Assist with Personal Care as needed
- Assist in supervising self-administration of medications as needed
- Workplace Trainings required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PCA or HHA experience preferred by not required - Previous experience working with Geriatric population with Dementia
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion & compassion working with Geriatrics
