Learned Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Teach various subjects such as literacy education, math, and science
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
Qualifications:
- Willing to further your Education in Child Growth and Development / Early Childhood Degree (required) - paid after 90 day internship
- Able to pass Criminal Background Check (required)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices (desired)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment (desired)
- Knowledge of child welfare regulations and best practices in childcare
