Day Care Center Teacher oversees the educational activities within the day care classroom. Structures the curriculum and monitors students' progress to ensure activities are meeting the children's needs. Being a Day Care Center Teacher maintains a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. Holds conferences with parents to discuss child's growth and development. Additionally, Day Care Center Teacher typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Elevate Child Care Center provides services to children ages 2.5-12. We currently have an opening for Full-Time employment for our Full Day PreK and After School Programs. Applicant must be available Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: designing, preparing, and/or implementing lesson plans for PreK classrooms or for group activities and clubs for school-aged children, modeling and teaching appropriate behaviors, general cleaning/tidying, and most importantly, supporting our Elevate families by providing a safe, structured, and loving environment for the children in care.
