DCFS Requirements:

Director Qualified-60 college credit hours with at least 21 credit hours in ECE or child development

Teacher Qualified-60 college credit hours with 6 credit hours in early childhood education or child development or have a CDA.

Teacher's Aide- High school diploma, or a GED

* All employees must complete a background check upon hiring, and they must meet all other DCFS requirements for their positions. Employees must be at least 19 years old.'
