Being a DEALER handles player transactions, notifies pit supervisor of any irregularities or disputes that may arise during the game. Accepts bets, pays winners and collects from non-winners. Additionally, DEALER may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The DEALER may require 0-1 year of general work experience. SUMMARY
Responsible for providing an entertaining, fun atmosphere to guests while dealing Table Games according to the game rules of the particular game being played.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Greet each guest individually and pleasantly.
§ Deal Table Games to guests according to the rules of the game being played.
§ Maintain an orderly table as well as an appropriate game speed in a courteous manner.
§ Determine winning and losing bets.
§ Pay winning bets and collect losing bets accurately according to appropriate odds.
§ Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with all departments, including needed property or service concerns.
§ Integrate the Three Rivers brand purpose into all processes, communications and guest/team member experiences.
§ Maintain awareness of, and effectively communicate to other staff, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs. Keep fellow team members/guests informed regarding the direction of the organization.
§ Ensure that all fellow team members will adhere to and deliver Superior Guest services striving to exceed our internal and external guest expectations.
§ Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.
§ Ensure living the brand/purpose in all work activities: “Every day, we deliver uncommonly kind experiences that connect people to the coast.”
§ Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
