Dealer Relationship Manager establishes and maintains relationships with automobile dealerships with the goal of promoting indirect loans. Provides guidance, training, and support to dealers on the organization's loan products, and tracks dealer metrics and performance. Being a Dealer Relationship Manager maintains working knowledge of products and programs, and ensures that dealer organizations comply with organizational policies and standards. Continually surveys competitive market loan rates and prepares reports for management. Additionally, Dealer Relationship Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Dealer Relationship Manager gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     The Licensed Relationship Manager is responsible to be the primary "asset" gatherer, retail investment sales leader, and relationship builder while assisting with special projects and working as part of a team. The Licensed Relationship Manager is also responsible for assisting the Manager in all phases of office operation including opening, processing and maintaining customer accounts, cross-selling of Northwest products and services, overseeing the teller area and activities as required.

    If the candidate selected for this opening does not currently hold the required licenses for the Licensed Relationship Manager role, the candidate will agree to pursue licensing required to perform duties in the Licensed Relationship Manager position (Series 6, 63, and current applicable State Life and Health Insurance licenses). Northwest Bank arranges and supports license testing and study materials. Details regarding the Licensed Relationship Manager Program will be provided during the appropriate interview with the management team.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Have consistent, holistic financial wellness conversations utilizing the CARE (Connect, Ask, Recommend, Expand) Best practices
    • Achieve or exceed the overall sales performance goals of the office
    • Assist with implementation of Northwest's strategic business plan and marketing initiatives
    • Demonstrate basic knowledge of products and services
    • Identify every client to manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of high retail clients to reach both retail branch and investment goals
    • Ensure compliance with Northwest Investment Services and broker/dealer policies and procedures
    • Identify and convert service to sales opportunities
    • Ask existing clients and business partners for prospect referrals and develop COIs
    • Actively seek opportunities to provide outstanding customer experience to every client
    • Promote referrals to the most appropriate branch team members and cross-functional business partners as appropriate
    • Assist Office Manager to ensure the customer experience within the office is consistently at a high level
    • Provide back up for the teller function
    • Open new accounts and services
    • Conduct direct business calls/referrals on a regular basis
    • Maintain community presence and involvement
    • Assist with implementation of CRM initiatives
    • Assist with the office workload and workflow, and the implementation of changes, improvements and new procedures
    • Review/monitor daily statistical reports
    • Attend educational trainings and seminars as needed
    • Knowledge of all office systems and software
    • Supervise vault operations and procedures
    • Assist with cross-training of new and existing employees
    • Quote loan/savings rates and terms
    • Maintain security and compliance within the office
    • Originate and process consumer loan requests
    • Assist in the mortgage loan process as required
    • Ability to work evening hours and weekends as scheduled or assigned
    • Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
    • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
    • Work as part of a team
    • Work with on-site equipment

    • Knowledge of Northwest products and services preferred

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

    Work Experience:

    • 3 - 5 years Customer Service Experience preferred
    • 3 - 5 years Sales Experience with Investment and Insurance Products preferred
    • 3 - 5 years Administrative/Supervisory Experience preferred
    • 5 - 6 years Banking Experience with an understanding of consumer lending preferred

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

    • FINRA SIE: Series 6 and 63 in good standing (upon hire or willingness to pursue and achieve licensure within one year of employment)
    • Current Applicable State Life and Health Insurance License (upon hire or willingness to pursue and achieve licensure within one year of employment)
