Dealer Relationship Manager establishes and maintains relationships with automobile dealerships with the goal of promoting indirect loans. Provides guidance, training, and support to dealers on the organization's loan products, and tracks dealer metrics and performance. Being a Dealer Relationship Manager maintains working knowledge of products and programs, and ensures that dealer organizations comply with organizational policies and standards. Continually surveys competitive market loan rates and prepares reports for management. Additionally, Dealer Relationship Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Dealer Relationship Manager gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     • Establish and grow the Dealer Specialties brand throughout the market
    • Recruit, develop, provide direction and lead service managers and account representatives
    • Manage and review P&L statements
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealerships and dealership groups
    • Coach and mentor the entire team
    • Manage the performance of the market through employee performance reviews and daily quality checks
    • Communicate vision and goals to the entire team and assist them with sales strategies
    • Assist in the development/penetration of new products through daily and weekly visits with customers
    Contribute Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Leadership success of the Route/Sales team required
    • Two or more years of success managing managers
    • Five or more years performing relationship management with team members and customers
    • Two or more years of expertise in brand management
    • Management of a team with 10 members preferred
    • Recruiting and hiring skills
    • Strengths and business competencies that include building effective teams, customer focus, drive for results, listening, problem-solving, decision quality, motivating others, integrity, and trust, priority setting
    • Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving history
    This role offers a base salary of approximately $50-$60k annually plus bonus potential. Compensation factors include geography, experience, education, job demands, job market, etc. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account; 401k, matching up to 4% fully vested on day one of employment; paid vacation, company holidays and sick leave; corporate discount opportunities.
