Dean of Arts and Sciences manages administrative functions of the college of arts and sciences. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Arts and Sciences leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Arts and Sciences requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Arts and Sciences manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Position: Full Time Martial Arts Instructor Or Part time
Location: 1900 E. Howard ln Bldg C-1 Pflugerville, Tx 78660
Schedule: Monday-Friday And some Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
- Character Building: Instill important values such as respect, discipline, and perseverance in students.
- Safety: Ensure a safe training environment by implementing proper safety protocols.
- Class Management: Maintain class records, attendance, and progress reports as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow instructors and staff to enhance the overall student experience.
Qualifications:
- Martial Arts Expertise: Strong background in Traditional martial arts experience as well as modern style, MMA, BJJ etc. with a minimum Black belt rank.
- Teaching Skills: Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for sharing knowledge is essential. Teaching all ages from 4 and up.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of all ages.
- Motivation: A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to inspire students to achieve their best.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a dependable work ethic are crucial.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications and credentials are a plus.
