Dean of Arts and Sciences manages administrative functions of the college of arts and sciences. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Arts and Sciences leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Arts and Sciences requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Arts and Sciences manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Arts and Sciences typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Arts in Motion is seeking qualified Art Instructors to round our our faculty for the upcoming season!

    The candidate should love working with children ages 2-13 and must have sufficient and various art experience. Knowledge and/or appreciation for theatre a plus. Ideal candidates enjoy teaching all ages and styles, and see significant value in a collaborative team environment.

    ARTS IN MOTION is a quickly growing creative performing arts studio located in Spartanburg, SC. We are looking to expand our amazing team of teachers, as we continue to grow our program offerings.

    We are a non-competitive, performance based studio and believe strongly that the creative and performing arts is for everyone. We are seeking like- minded individuals that see value in teaching creative and performing arts to children of all ages and abilities, and who are looking to grow their career within our company.

    Candidates should be able to work within a structured framework to provide excellent dance training and an amazing class experience to all students.

    The ideal candidate is: energetic, teachable, responsible, self-motivated, a team player

    Hourly pay rate is competitive and dependent on experience. Full time teaching hours will be available in the future.

    Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
