Enrolling over 500 undergraduate and 200 graduate students, the school comprises 21 full-time and 17 part-time faculty in three departments (accounting, economics/finance, management, and marketing/information systems). At the undergraduate level, business majors include accounting, accounting information systems, economics, finance, management, marketing, sport management, and business (general) along with several minors. The school also delivers a suite of graduate programs: an MBA (full-time or part-time), a 150-hour Accounting program (MBAA), an MBA in Professional Accounting, an MS in Business Analytics, an MS in Finance, an MS in Sport Administration, MS in Sport Product Development, and eight different advanced certificates. The school also manages the Canisius Center for Analytics and Data Ecosystems as well as the Women's Business Center, and has excellent relations with the regional business community through its Business Council, its Council on Accountancy, its Finance Council, and its Graduate Business Alumni Board.
As the leader of the Wehle School of Business, the dean will be instrumental in developing and implementing the school's vision as well as assisting Canisius in meeting its goal of enhancing the academic profile of the university. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary: $160,000 to $180,000 annually
Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. The selected candidate's actual base pay will be based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including experience. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
This is a full-time, 12-month position. Benefits are available the first of the month after the full-time employee's date of hire and include - health, dental and vision insurance, life and long term disability insurance, and retirement plan enrollment is available to full-time employees with contribution from University after one year.
