Dean of Dentistry manages administrative functions of the college of dentistry. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Dentistry leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Dentistry requires an advanced degree of dentistry. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Dentistry manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Dentistry typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Treatment Coordinator. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Our Treatment Coordinator should be caring, professional, and goal oriented.

    Duties:

    - Explain treatment plans to patients,
    - Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service,
    - Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar,
    - Collect and verify patient information, including dental and medical history and insurance details, complete insurance verification to determine coverage and benefit limits,
    - Assist with insurance claims processing and billing,
    - Coordinate treatment plans for patients, including explaining procedures and associated costs,

    - Offer patients alternate means of payment such as third party financing,

    - Obtain high treatment plan acceptance by educating patients on dental treatments, costs, insurance coverage, and financial options,
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix software,
    - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
    - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction,

    - Help the dentists with communication between our dental office, outside dental specialist, dental labs, different dental platforms like Invisalign, SmileVirtual etc.,

    - Create and implement digital communication and marketing systems.

    Skills:
    - Previous experience as a dental front desk/ treatment coordinator is necessary, minimum of three years,

    - Experience in customer service or sales, minimum of three years,
    - Proficiency in using Dentrix dental software system,

    - Working knowledge of Microsoft suite,
    - Strong knowledge of dental scheduling and record-keeping practices,

    - Knowledge of dental billing and experience with dental procedure codes and fee schedules,
    - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
    - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
    - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient privacy,

    - Self motivated and ambitious sales attitude,

    - Caring, outgoing, and friendly personality.
