Dean of Dentistry manages administrative functions of the college of dentistry. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Dentistry leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Dentistry requires an advanced degree of dentistry. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Dentistry manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Dr. Daniel purchased an existing practice in 2020 on Brainerd Road. He took an older practice and has poured life into it as well as new equipment and systems. The goal of our practice is to give our patients an unforgettably great dental experience and help them not dread "going to the dentist!"
We see patients of all ages and provide a wide range of treatment options for our patients including procedures like Crowns, Fillings, Dentures, Invisalign, Implants, Veneers, Whitening, and more.

Pay and Benefits:
We are offering an assistant hourly salary based on experience level. Our ideal candidate has 2 years of chair side experience but we are open to training newly licensed assistants as well. An applicant with Restorative Expanded Function experience would be awesome but not required. If team members are interested in obtaining their EFDA certification we do offer education scholarship opportunities.
Job responsibilities will include:
-room preparation, chairside assisting, taking of dental radiographs, breakdown and room cleanup, sterilization, routine daily equipment maintenance tasks, supply management, nitrous monitoring, treatment plan presentations, impressions and crown scanning, Other assisting responsibilities may be required based on the patient situation.
Candidates should also be comfortable using dental software. We use Open Dental but we can train the small differences between our software and dentrix or eaglesoft.
We start our morning meetings at 7:45AM and work an average of 16-18 days per month (depending on holidays and scheduled breaks). We work Monday-Thursday, appointment hours 8AM-5PM. We are also expanding to working 2 Fridays/month in 2024. If this is an issue, please apply and we can work through those scheduling days.
