Dean of Engineering manages administrative functions of the college of engineering. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Engineering leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Engineering requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Engineering manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. NDI Engineering Company is seeking a candidate with a background in performing engineering technician level work to join our team in Philadelphia and assist with supporting the US Navy.
The ideal candidate will have experience with computer networks and/or control systems. Systems associated with industrial controls is desirable, but not required.
A willingness to learn and collaborate in high-involvement work team environment under the supervision of lead engineers.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will provide on-site representative support in Pascagoula, MS for shipboard IC Data Networks.
The Contractor shall review and coordinate data package generation and updates, including, but not limited to, identifying proper shipboard material specifications, part numbers, and methods.
The Contractor shall participate in System Program Reviews, Technical Reviews, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), In-Service Engineering Agent Team Meetings and other Technical and Programmatic forums to maintain awareness of program and system issues and initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
High School/Vocational School Diploma or GED Certificate along with a Technical School Diploma or four (4) years Navy experience with C-school training in an EM, ET, IC or IT rate specialty.
Experience with computer networking is desirable.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, TEAMs, Word, and Power Point.
