Dean of Engineering jobs in Wisconsin
Dean of Engineering manages administrative functions of the college of engineering. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Engineering leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Engineering requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Engineering manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Engineering typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Role
As an Engineering Technician (also known as Manufacturing Design Specialist, Remanufacturing Operations Support), you'll be responsible for executing the Manufacturing Design Specification, supporting shop floor associates and technicians, and improving manufacturing/re-manufacturing processes. This includes creating/updating repair assembly drawings/documentation, implementing and supporting existing fixtures and manufacturing/re-manufacturing process equipment, and facilitating acceptance of all assembly processes, test processes, and test equipment. - Good understanding of Manufacturing Process and experience in engineering troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Ability to adjust to changes in priority and scope.
- Good written and verbal communications in English.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office program.
