Dean of Fine Arts manages administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Fine Arts leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Fine Arts requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Fine Arts manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Fine Arts typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Venue Assistants provide general event and building support including setup and tear down, food service, security and custodial assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS and ATTRIBUTES:
The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The ability to remain friendly, professional, and courteous under pressure.
Current OLCC permit and food handlers card a plus; will need to get within first two weeks of work if hired.
Ability to work within established guidelines and systems.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Conservative dress/personal appearance required. We issue a Shedd short sleeve polo shirt - no visible tattoos.
