Dean of Fine Arts jobs in Rhode Island
Dean of Fine Arts manages administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Fine Arts leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Fine Arts requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Fine Arts manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Fine Arts typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. We are hiring for a baking/tart position. We are looking for a dependable, motivated, individual with experience in the field. Decorating skills are a plus.
Duties: The job includes all types of scratch baking and assembly. We do not use mixes or pre-made fillings. Must be familiar with scaling and basic bake shop equipment.
Hours: Shifts are approximately 6am-2:30pm. Weekend availability required.
Requirements: Candidates must have schooling in pastry or baking experience in a work place environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and able to stand for 6 hours.
