Dean of Fine Arts manages administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Fine Arts leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Fine Arts requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Fine Arts manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Fine Arts typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Pre-School and Youth Dance/Movement/Arts Instructor (Part Time)
SB Dance Arts not only teaches kids to be great dancers, but also teaches dancers how to be great kids! SB Dance Arts provides classes from ages 2-adult in: jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballet, pointe, and Acro. We provide programs for both the recreational dancers as well as the competitive dancers through our student companies and competition teams.
We are looking for qualified teachers for our Pre-School and Youth Summer Camps which range from ages 3 – 8 years old for. Looking for candidates who enjoy running craft classes, games, trips to the park and helping with mealtimes. Teaching dance is not a requirement but a plus!
Compensation ranges $16-$45 per class DOE.
SB Dance Arts conducts background checks on all our applicants.

Qualifications:
ECE degree in progress or complete preferred
2-3 years teaching preschool or preschool age movement
2 references
