Dean of Fine Arts manages administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Fine Arts leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Fine Arts requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Fine Arts manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Fine Arts typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Are you passionate about Tech Education, Video Games, Coding, Python, Roblox™, App Design, Digital Movies, Robotics, Drones, Minecraft™ or STEM?

    We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Assistant Instructors in our Summer programs.

    • Summer seasonal position (4-10 weeks) starting in June

    • In-room with kids ages 8-14

    • PAID training!

    • No formal experience required

    • Spend the summer with our AMAZING students having fun with technology!

    General Requirements:

    • Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation

    • Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required

    • Strong technology skills are preferred, such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, etc.

    • Available to start online training in May prior to the start of summer (train at your own pace via our online portal)

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer accommodations or work sponsorship.

    • Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday

    • Must love working with kids!

    • 18 years of age or older

    • College students studying education, computer science, digital arts, information technology, or in similar fields are encouraged to apply.

    • Those with strong tech or digital arts and troubleshooting skills will be most successful in this position

    • Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting is a plus, such as babysitting, volunteering, coaching, tutoring, etc.

    • Rate: $15.50/hr
