Jackson Hole Classical Academy Seeks a Humanities Teacher for Middle and High School

The humanities teacher will be expected to teach four and a half credits of middle and/or high school courses. We encourage applicants who have experience with two or more of the following subject areas:

· United States History

· Middle School Literature & Composition

· Medieval History

· Ancient History

· Philosophy

· Formal & Informal Logic

· Middle School Science

· Middle or High School Music

· Middle or High School Art

A successful teaching candidate will have the following skills, credentials, and expertise:

· Experience, knowledge, or interest in classical pedagogy

· Familiarity with Charlotte Mason’s approach to habit formation

The curriculum at Jackson Hole Classical Academy is in the classical liberal arts tradition.
