Albany Law School seeks applications for its chief admissions officer. Reporting directly to the President and Dean of Albany Law School, the Assistant Dean of Admissions is a member of the leadership team and is responsible for the comprehensive data-driven enrollment management of all JD and residential LLM degree programs and will play a key role in development of flexible program options.
The Assistant Dean of Admissions provides leadership and strategic direction in Albany Law School’s efforts to attract, retain and onboard a talented, motivated and diverse student body. Major components of the position include annual enrollment forecasting and strategic planning, scholarship and pricing strategy, marketing and recruitment, evaluation of applications, and oversight of admissions operations and reporting. The Assistant Dean serves as a key ambassador advancing the mission, vision and values of Albany Law School.

The Assistant Dean of Admissions candidates will possess:
- 5 or more years of progressively responsible enrollment management experience. Experience managing graduate or professional school programs preferred.
- A proven track record of success in achieving enrollment goals and growing application volume.
- Experience developing scholarship strategy in line with institutional enrollment goals.
- Ability to lead others, build consensus and sustain a team.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a history of building collaborative relationships with alumni, faculty, students and advisors.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of current technology and its application in enrollment management.
- A bachelor’s degree is required. JD or master’s degree in higher education administration, counseling, student personnel, or similar field preferred.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $105,000-$125,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits package. Salary offered will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, and in consideration of internal equity.
