Dean of Law manages administrative functions of the college of law. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Law leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Law requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Law manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Law typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. · Drafting Legal Documents
· Administrative Assistance to Supervising Attorneys
. Client Calls, Handling Payments, Onsite Interaction
· Various Administrative & Clerical tasks
· Time Entries
· Arranging Meetings
· Calendaring
· Mailings
· Answering Phones
· Other administrative tasks, all while providing excellent vendor and client services.
Essential Qualifications include:
· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure while exhibiting patience
· Proficient typing skills
· Legal/procedural research skills
· Familiarity with legal technology and computer databases, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Outlook/Word) and legal billing software
