Dean of Law manages administrative functions of the college of law. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Law leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Law requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Law manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. As a Family Law Paralegal, you will perform a variety of paralegal and administrative tasks in our collaborative team-oriented culture. You will support your local attorney(s) and team by assisting with case planning, development, and management, legal research, client communication, drafting and filing legal documents and making recommendations to attorneys. The successful candidate has a passion for Family Law which can include dissolutions, adoptions, parenting plans, guardianships etc. and is motivated to help create a pleasant workplace.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*:
High School Diploma or GED required, college graduate with bachelor’s degree preferred; 2 years of Paralegal experience (Family Law knowledge preferred). Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to talk. Listen and speak clearly on the phone and through written communications. Computer proficiency (MS-Office- Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadline, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions give, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
