Job Description:
Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Adjunct Instructor - Mathematics - position, in the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Division. This position is located on Atlanta Tech's main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.
Under general supervision, the Adjunct Mathematics Instructor will be responsible for providing instruction to students by diagnosing Mathematics difficulties and teaching Mathematics courses in the General Education Mathematics & Natural Sciences Department. Demonstrate the use of appropriate teaching techniques. Demonstrate the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping required. Demonstrate the effective use of communication skills. Demonstrate knowledge of current procedures in the Mathematics field.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a Master’s degree in Mathematics or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Mathematics from a regionally accredited institution. Must possess strong communication and technological skills, along with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must possess the ability to work flexible hours when necessary. Must possess and demonstrate two (2) years of teaching experience in an academic setting. Must possess and maintain the appropriate professional credential for or related to the field or position.
May be required to teach at other locations and other locations within the community.
