Cardiovascular Medicine, PLLC is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist!!

Position Summary:

The Accounting Specialist is a key member of the accounting team. This position provides financial services to support the financial viability of the organization with a primary focus on the processing and monitoring of accounts payable, analytical analysis, and general ledger. General ledger will include preparing journal entries and supporting schedules for various balance sheet accounts each month.

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• 1-2 years accounting experience in any field required.
• Would be open to 5 years relevant work experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Proficient in knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications
• Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets using advanced formulas and pivot tables
• Experience with SAGE 100 and NetSuite preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform analysis on expenses
