Dean of Medicine manages administrative functions of the college of medical. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Medicine leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Medicine requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Medicine manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Medicine typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     We are seeking a skilled and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

    Duties:
    - Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
    - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
    - Schedule appointments for patients and ensure the appointment book is up to date
    - Verify patient information and insurance coverage
    - Collect co-pays and payments from patients
    - Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up to date
    - Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of patient care
    - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
    - Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed

    Qualifications:
    - Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
    - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
    - Familiarity with Eaglesoft or other dental software systems is a plus
    - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    - Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
