Dean of Medicine manages administrative functions of the college of medical. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Medicine leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Medicine requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Medicine manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Medicine typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Summary

    Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join our Kent Medical Center team in Kent, Washington.  This position is 100% outpatient with no call required.   You will have an excellent balance of patients per day and work with a centralized Telehealth Medical Center to support your patients 24/7.  In our integrated health care model our clinicians have instant access to dozens of specialties, which allows for a level of collaboration and comprehensive treatment your patients deserve. 

     
    Kent Medical Center is comprised of Family Medicine and Social Work Services. Lab, Pharmacy, and Radiology on site. Office hours are 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The entire salary range for this position is $257,053.00 to $302,416.00  and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $257,053.00 to $287,295.00 based on factors such as education, training or experience.

    Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, receive employer contributions to the 401(k) plan, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan. Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding.
