Dean of Nursing jobs in Vineland, NJ
Dean of Nursing manages administrative functions of the college of nursing. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Nursing leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Nursing requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires certification as a registered nurse. The Dean of Nursing manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Nursing typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Temporary Nursing Assistant Qualifications:
- Temporary Nursing Assistant Certificate 8 HR Course Prior to January 11,2022
- Basic computer skills
Temporary Nursing Assistant Duties:
- Recording vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rate, as requested by staff
- Reminding patients to take medications and other nutritional supplements as needed
- The ability to think and work independently, with direction from a team leader or manager, while maintaining efficient and consistent communications at all times
- Provide adjunct patient care as needed. This can include delivering ice packs and dressings to help relieve pain while in therapy or baths for soothing purposes after their session has ended
- Process a wide range of information from other professionals and work with physicians, caregivers, and nurses
- Closely monitor and record food intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, to be shared with key medical and nursing staff
