We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription orders by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and packaging medications
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications
- Perform medication inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug names, strengths, and dosages
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during medication preparation
- Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy equipment and supplies

Skills:
- Proficient in medication administration techniques and dosage calculations
- Experience in critical care or acute care settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for sterile compounding
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy abbreviations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is highly desirable
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is an asset
