New West Charter is an award-winning 6-12th grade independent charter school in Los Angeles, California. Our school attracts a diverse student population from all over the area, focuses on academics, and builds confidence through the arts and athletics.

We are looking to add enthusiastic people to New West’s high schools faculty to serve/support students in grades 9-10.

Reporting Responsibilities: Reports directly to the High School Principal

As the Dean of Students you would be in-charge of the following:

• Coordinating school-wide DEI initiatives & Rallies
• Leading DEI Student Advisory Group
• Handling All DEI Related Incidents With Students
• Helping To Coordinate HS Student Life Events
• Point of Contact: Admin For 9th & 10th Grade Students
• Scheduling
• Well Being / Discipline
• Work Permits
• Helping with Weekly Newsletter
• Student Supervision
• Other Job Duties As Assigned By Executive Director

**Credentials/Education**

-Preferred: Administrative Credential

-Required: B.A Minimum

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
