Dean of Undergraduate Programs manages administrative functions of the undergraduate program. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Undergraduate Programs leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Undergraduate Programs requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Undergraduate Programs manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Research Assistant in ecology and native plant restoration. JFNTMP
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with research data entry, lab activities and greenhouse care of native plants
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Undergraduate in Plant sciences, agriculture, and range sciences including soil science, wildlife management, ecological restoration, and related fields.
Other requirements: Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Interest in laboratory work, greenhouse plant care, and data management; fast learner, reliable – should have access to car to travel between lab and greenhouse facility.
