The primary goal of this position is the support the growth and adoption of the UF Health implementation of Epic's Caboodle data warehouse and the SlicerDicer front-end query tool. This will include developing custom ETL using SSIS and T-SQL stored procedures (for Caboodle), as well as creating and/or modifying Epic FDS/FDM records in the Epic Text environment (for SlicerDicer). A strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS (or a similar ETL tool) and data warehousing concepts is highly prioritized. This position will also ideally work in Epic's Cogito reporting suite, helping to develop custom dashboards and metrics using Caboodle and SlicerDicer as a source. Knowledge of Epic and primarily Cogito is also a priority.
Other responsibilities will possibly include SQL performance turning and maintenance, learning and understanding various health care concepts and coding systems, supporting UF Health's custom IDR data warehouse, and understanding SAP Business Objects suite, primarily SAP Data Services.
