    We are recruiting for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance Team.

    Job Summary

    The Accounting Manager develops, implements, and monitors policies, procedures, and controls for the hospital division.  In addition, the Manager prepares and reviews financial analysis, monitors hospital compliance with financial policies and procedures and special projects.

    Essential Functions

    • Prepares and reviews financial analysis for the hospital division.
    • Oversees the timely completion of the month end close process and completion of journal entries as needed.
    • Identifies and resolves financial control weaknesses.  Manages the hospital financial checklist application, plans and coordinate tests of controls.
    • Maintains confidentiality of all patient and/or employee information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of accounting and finance.
    • Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
    • Monitor and review of assigned balance sheet accounts for assigned hospitals.
    • Communicates and resolves inter-departmental accounting issues. Provides information training/guidance to other departments or hospital level accounting personnel regarding accounting or cash operations issues.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Business Warehouse and SAP.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Leadership and supervisory skills.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

    Licenses/Certification

    • CPA preferred.

    Experience

    • 5 – 7 years in healthcare finance or public accounting with supervisory experience.

     

    Depending on a candidate’s qualifications, this role may be filled at a different level.

    Minimum Salary: $74700.0

    Maximum Salary: $112100.0
