    Description & Requirements

    Manage and ensure goods are shipped and delivered in a timely manner. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Hardware Operations. This a working supervisor position expected to help in various warehouse and shipping roles in addition to supervisory responsibilities.


    A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

    • Responsible for sourcing the most cost-effective and reliable transportation carriers. Conduct periodic cost analyses of transportation companies.
    • Monitor shipments for late, lost, or damaged deliveries taking necessary action to ensure corrective action is taken.
    • Analyze and evaluate customer needs and management of inventory based on these needs. Responsible for re-ordering products as needed to maintain sufficient inventory levels while maintaining an optimized balance of cost and inventory levels.
    • Maintain an organized warehouse and implement inventory controls when necessary.
    • Manage daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries. Track the progress of all shipments.
    • Assist in planning staff and equipment needs.
    • Supervisory responsibilities of direct reports.
    • Reviewing inventory needs and keeping adequate stock.
    • Create and maintain a safe working environment.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Understand planning, shipping, warehouse management, and inventory systems.
    • Shipping, inventory policies and procedures experience.
    • Knowledge of warehouse operations.
    • Experience with UPS WorldShip and FEDEX Ship Manager applications.
    • Able to stand for an extended length of time.
    • Customer service experience and the ability to work with team to complete tasks on time.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Possess forklift certification and can train others on forklift operations and safety.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • International shipping Experience.
