About the Position: NCBH Woodward Outpatient is accepting resumes for a Recovery Support Specialist to provide peer support services for consumers. The RSS performs a wide range of tasks to assist consumers in regaining control of their lives and navigating the recovery process. The RSS will work as an advocate and will possess the skills to maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics, and interactions with all ODMHSAS stakeholders.

Job Type/Salary:

• Application Period: 03/29/2024 - 04/12/2024

• Full-time - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday; 10 am - 7:00 pm Tuesday

• Recovery Support Specialist $30,000 Starting Salary

  Paid training for certification!
  Once Certified salary increase to $34,500

• Full Compensation range of $39,878.00 to $52,588.00 includes base salary, retirement and State paid benefit allowance to help pay for your benefit elections! (based on the number of covered dependents and additional years of service and certification)

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Demonstrated participation in advocacy and/or personal knowledge in recovery.

Special Requirements:

• Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background.

• Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary.

• Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

• (if Required) Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and be able to pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
