Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. The Regional IT Support Specialist is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service and support in a responsive, respectful manner to end users on a variety of computer and telecommunications issues. Installs and maintains computer hardware, software and peripherals. The position may require more work hours than the normal eight-hour workday.
• Associates in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field preferred or equivalent work-relatedexperience. Years of experience may substitute for degree.• 2-3 years in information technology experience preferably in helpdesk support in a Windows enterprise ActiveDirectory environment.• One (1) year experience supporting Windows 7/ Windows 10• Knowledge of Ethernet networks and TCP/IP settings.• Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 or greater; network printing; corporate email.Preferred• Experience in Helpdesk Support in a Windows Active Directory environment.• Experience supporting Exchange email environment.• Experience with Microsoft MDT / Symantec Ghost / or other OS imaging solutions.• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas.
