Located in Carson City at two locations, Carson High School and Carson Tahoe Health medical campus, we operate a state-of-the-art greenhouse, grow in raised beds, maintain hoop houses and a small orchard, and support demonstration models of new agri-technology and growing methods. In addition to educating youth and adults about growing food, TGP provides fresh, organic produce to the food insecure in our community through local relief agencies. At Carson High School, we work daily with high school students, students with special needs, community volunteers, the high school culinary program, and National and State wide service members as well as hosting youth field trips and tours. We also produce and fund the maintenance of the hanging flower baskets that beautify the Carson City downtown corridor in the summer months.
