Project Management Support
Seeking to hire full time Project Management Support at Newport, RI. Selected candidate will possess a very strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
Duties and responsibilities
Perform critical program management, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and provide recommendations to ensure program success. Provide program analysis and integration support for all aspects of their respective Program and/or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Candidates will collect, analyze, organize, and interpret schedule data relating to aircraft acquisition and product-based programs. Candidates must be able to plan, develop, sustain, and conduct analysis on Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Integrated Master Plans (IMP).
Assist with developing and managing schedules that comply with a program's Statement of Objectives (SOO), Technical Performance Requirements (TPRs), Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), or Contract Statement of Work (CSOW) and communicate to all levels of the project team and stakeholders effectively.
Work with DoD clients to establish and monitor the program’s execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria. Support the collection and collation of data and the interpretation of timelines. Candidates will provide subject matter expertise and reporting in scheduling, critical path analysis, and program coordination.
These positions are based out of Newport, RI. Employees must possess the ability to work on-site as necessary to meet client or programmatic requirements.
Travel may be required.
Qualifications/Experience
Desired Experience:
· Experience with scheduling and planning
· Experience with managing enterprise or integrated schedules
· Experience with scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project and Primavera
· Knowledge of the Planning, Programing, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process
· Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products
· Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project or comparable tool (Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.)
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment
Additional preferred qualifications/experience:
· Project Management Institute (PMI) Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification
· PMI Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Certification
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance or similar and five (5) years of relevant DoD work experience
· Security Clearance:
o Due to the requirements of this contract, U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required. Active Security Clearance is preferred.
