Being a Decision Support Specialist analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Decision Support Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Decision Support Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Greater Nashua Mental Health is looking for an Intake Support Specialist to join our team! The Intake Support Specialist provides short term, office-based support to adults who are seeking recovery services from a mental health condition, and other co-occurring disorders. May also occasionally transport clients or meet in the community. Meets with new clients post intake to discuss the range of services provided by the CMHC, provide case management, Illness Management Recovery, and/or Intentional Peer Support counseling to assist individuals in developing strategies and skills to cope with aspects of their mental illness during the period between intake and treatment team assignment.
