Decision Support Specialist provides guidance and solutions to users working with decision support software and data tools. Assists in the preparation, deployment, and delivery of decision support tools to users. Being a Decision Support Specialist analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Decision Support Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Decision Support Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Job Summary:
Under the direction of the I.T. Helpdesk/Desktop manager, the Support Specialist provides efficient and flexible desktop support services with a strong customer service commitment. The Support Specialist will provide second level of support to issues reported as well as desktop administration of computer systems and related peripherals, classroom technology support, and will provide Help Desk customer support. Will be working in a clinical and academic environments.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Position Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid Driver's license
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two (2) years computer support experience
Preferred:
- Two (2) to Three (3) years computer support combined with education
